I have been personally blessed in serving the Lord Jesus Christ as a small part of the IBS family. I became involved following a heart attack that I suffered Nov. 18, 2001. At that time I felt that I would never be able to travel or preach again and I was looking for something I could do to serve the Lord.

As a result of starting in a very small way placing ads in foreign newspapers, the Lord has blessed our humble efforts with unbelievable results. In my 36 years of international travel I had enjoyed the great privilege of preaching God's Word in 78 nations. However I am sorry to say I had neglected the 15 nations where most of the world's 1.2 billion Muslims live. In these nations: Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya, Jordan,
Egypt, Sudan, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, it is forbidden for preachers of the Gospel to travel there to preach. In most of these nations they will imprison you or cut your head off if they catch you preaching the Gospel. So I believed it was impossible to reach these lost souls.

As I lay in my hospital bed thinking about all this the Lord enabled me to contact Carl Anderson, the President of IBS. I asked him for permission to use the idea and the lessons. Carl, graciously gave me permission and so White Fields Overseas Evangelism has partnered with IBS ever since. We recruited 41 individuals who serve as teachers. We are putting ads in foreign newspapers and sending out the Bible lessons to those who respond. There is no doubt in my mind that the devil gave me the heart attack to
stop me from preaching to the unsaved. But God has turned defeat to victory. In Genesis 50:20 Joseph said to his brothers, "As far as I am concerned, God turned into good what you meant for evil". And that's how I see it. As a result of the heart attack, God has brought about good as He led me to the spreading of God's Word into these unreached Muslim nations.

Through the placing of ads in foreign newspapers we are trying to take the Gospel to the unreached Muslim nations of the world where it is illegal to preach the gospel. One of our recent efforts is in the nation of DUBAI. Please read this letter from our contact worker in Dubai:

"I've tried to check what kind of new paper wherein you we can promote or publish your IBS through email. The problem is local newspaper here is very strict in dealing with "suspicious" ads. However, we can still have it publish but not in the local newspaper here. You can contact the Indian Newspaper in India since Indian newspapers are also widely read here. Here are the addresses: The Navhind Time www.navhindtimes.com, The Times of India www.timesofindia.com, and Herald www.gerald.com.

Regarding the Christian fellowship here, normally the westerns, Europeans, and the Far Eastern people have their services held on the evening of Sunday. Normally, only the Christian Indians are having their services on Friday. Public evangelism is prohibited! Mere talk about Christianity to an unbeliever in undesignated areas if caught by an authority can be a big trouble...may be would end up sending you to jail or deportation. All the denominations exactly 90 groups are having their services conducted in one place...i.e, the Holy Trinity Church compound owned by the Anglican. This place has a lot of extension and portacabin and 2 adjacent buildings with big rooms for rent intended for church fellowship. In this area evangelism can be conducted freely...track distribution. So, the
_expression of religious belief is restricted in public but freely allowed in the designated areas. Note that there are at least 2 centers here wherein you can freely express/practice your religious belief. In Dubai Aluminum, my company has even a Roman Catholic Chapel!

One of my plans in coming here in Dubai is to establish a church nucleus here in Dubai...as I see it a unified effort is needed to make it to realize. However, we can't under estimate the power of God. Actually, this is also one of the things that I want to explore! I want to see how God will work in us in spite of our different weaknesses and of being few in number... As of this time there are 7 of here already. It is already a good start. REACHING MUSLIMS FOR CHRIST

Since 9/11 White Fields has joined in the war against terrorism. However we are Christians and so we are showing LOVE to the Muslims, not Hate. We are fighting with the Gospel of Christ, not bullets. As we target the Muslim nations we have been placing ads in the Muslim newspapers offering a free Bible study correspondence course to those who request it. Since placing few ads we have secured 20,883 Bible students. 41 teachers are helping in the total effort to teach 351 students in Saudi Arabia, 2 in Algeria, 1in Dubai, 1 in Pakistan, 1 in Spain, 1218 in Swaziland, 36 in South Africa, 19 in Lesotho, 631 in the Philippines, 17,300 in Mindanao, 825 in India, 30 in Turkey, 24 in South Africa, 16 in Namibia, 2 in Sri Lanka, 36 in Mozambique, 20 in Morocco, 288 in Kursk, Kharkov, Simferopol, Sevastopol , 40 in United Arab Emirates, 1 in Cuba, 1 in Iran, 1 in Quatar, 1 Solomon Islands, 5 in Macedonia, and finally 18 in Botswana We have even learned how to get the Bible into Saudi Arabia via e-mail. We are now trying to get ads in the newspapers in Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, Afghanistan etc. and will continue to target the Muslim nations.

We have been making an effort to contact the unsaved all over the world via newspaper ads. These ads are placed inviting people to write us for a FREE BIBLE CORRESPONCE COURSE. It is working and as a result there have been more than 524 souls baptized into Christ during the past year and a half.

Reggie visited with the Pacific Rim team in April when this photo was taken and plans were made to reach out into some of the unreached islands of the Philippines that have not been evangelized. The Krause's are very energetic workers and so be looking for news from the island of Panay as this new effort of IBS commences.

ALL OF THESE ARE A RESULT OF MEN AND WOMEN STUDYING THE IBS BIBLE LESSONS THAT HAVE BEEN MAILED TO THEM. THE WORD OF GOD CANNOT BE IMPRISONED.
