Dr Don Ott

BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
DR. DON OTT is an ordained evangelist and licensed psychologist. For the past 25 years, he has had a clinical practice in Russellville, Arkansas, and established CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGICAL RESOURCES (CPR) in 1994. CPR offers individual, marital, and family therapy, and seminars on personal wholeness, marital fulfillment, and parental effectiveness. He served on seven church staffs in three states, and currently preaches part-time for River Valley Christian Church in London, Arkansas
Don graduated from Ozark Bible College in 1976 and from Oral Roberts University in 1981. In 1987 he completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Biola University, Rosemead School of Psychology in La Mirada, California. Dr. Ott is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
He has taught for Mid-South Christian College in Memphis, Tennessee since 1988, and also for Ozark Christian College and Arkansas Tech University. He has conducted seminars in 13 states, and has made 22 short-term mission trips to Russia, China, Cuba, Liberia, India, Iraq, Haiti, the Philippines, and Australia with an emphasis on equipping pastoral counselors. He directs Cuba Bible Institute and serves on the boards of Christ on Campus and Revival Fires.
Don and his wife Johniece were married in 1970. They have two daughters and three sons, all adults, and two grandchildren. Leisure activities include fishing, swimming, running, photography, and SCUBA diving. His passion is “Lifestyle Christianity,” Jesus Christ and Scripture applied to everyday life!
